In Home Training
Here you will be able to learn how to teach your dog basic behaviours, such as polite manners, walking manners, mat training etc. Also to help with any unfavourable behaviours, such as jumping, over excitement, chewing etc. This will be a fantastic opportunity for you and your dog to strengthen your bond while learning under professional guidance.
Pricing $95 for 1 hour includes travel, treats and a training plan, sent after the session.

Day Training

Day training is a great opportunity for your dog to learn basic behaviours and life skills, taught by a qualified and skilled dog trainer. Leaving you time to enjoy your time with your pet. I will do three scheduled day training sessions and then we will do another 1 hour session to teach you everything we have been working on.For example:-Foundation behaviours (sit, stay, on your bed)-Relaxing while at the cafe, park or beach etc.-Walking Manners

Walking Manners
Walking at a slow pace can be hard for some dogs, especially when they see another dog or a person coming near them. Using positive training methods I will assist your dog in walking on a loose lead and to remain calm when seeing things that may make them excited or scared. These sessions are available 2 time per day 5 days per week.Includes Teaching:-Lead manners-Calm behaviour when seeing dogs/people-Distraction behaviours to help get your dogs attention

Terms of Service
Cancellations
Cancellation must be made within 24 hours if possible. Although, I understand that emergency happen, if you could please give me enough time prior to your appointment.
Inclement Weather
Family Pet Education will do walks in rain or shine. I do, however, take your dog’s safety and health very seriously. If the weather becomes too hot (32 C and above) to walk in or a thunderstorm has been predicted for the day I will implement our inclement weather policy. You will be notified at either 5pm the day before your appointment or the morning of if the weather has been updated. I can still offer some in home play, so your dog gets some exercise for the day. Please call for more information.
Payment Options
I accept PayPal, Cash and Bank Transfer. Please contact for more information. I use an invoice system called Wave.com. You can also pay via credit card through the invoice system.
Key Storage
When you become a regular customer a copy of your gate/door key is need for home access to your pet. All keys are kept in a secure coded box and are number coded. The keys are kept separate from all client information and do not have house details on them.
Equipment
Pet Vaccinations and Health
I only assume that your pet is up to date with their vaccinations and health checks. I take no responsibility if your pet becomes ill whilst in my care. Please disclose all health issues you are aware of two Family Pet Education, so I can look after your pet. I will work with you to make a management plan to assist your pet with their health issues.
I use both Black Dog Wear and Puppingtons walking equipment. I have front attach walking harnesses in all sizes and soft flat collars in all sizes. On our first meeting I will measure your pooch to get the right fitted equipment before our first walk.
